Affiliate Marketing is a performance-based marketing channel where a merchant pays affiliates for sales that result from their referrals.
A merchant will license ReferTrack to run their own Affiliate Program. Prospective Affiliates will apply to the Affiliate Program and, if accepted, will be rewarded for the referring sales they send to the Merchant.
In short: Yes, you can do both. You can pay for leads or pay for sales. You can set a default rate (or amount) that you'll pay for leads or sales. For each Affiliate, you can customize the amount you'll pay them.
You can save on service fees if you pay your affiliates yourself, or you can hire us to pay them. Either way, your affiliates can be paid on their preferred platform, like Paypal, ACH or paper check.
Web browsers oftentimes block some "third party" tracking leaving some sales untrack-able. ReferTrack doesn't rely solely on cookies, as there are many layers of tracking. Whenever a tracking cookie is helpful, we always use First Party cookies.
Every Affiliate Program varies and your success depends on many factors, like: How competitive is your offer? How well do you convert referred traffic? How responsive are you with your Affiliate partners? Do you provide them with conversion-focused marketing material? Are you paying your affiliates every month, regularly?
